Passaic NJ Daily/Weekly Parking Pass For Local Merchants

ATTN LOCAL MERCHANTS: WE ARE ASKING THE CITY OF PASSAIC TO GRANT US DAILY/WEEKLY/MONTHLY PARKING PASSES AT A FLAT FEE. I am a local merchant here in the "Great" city of Passaic NJ. If you are anything like me, you must be extremly tired of paying parking tickets. The City of Passaic does NOT offer a daily, weekly, or monthly parking pass for local merchants. I am alone in my store most of the time and cannot close the store down to go put money in the meter every 2 hours, the "Municipal Meter Parking Lot" which is "supposted" to accept dollar bills and quarters rarely ever works, if you park at 10am, and the meter does NOT work and they fix it at 12pm, guess what, your getting slammed with a $27.00 ticket. At this point a good portion of my salary is going toward my parking tickets, and I'm sure most of the other merchants are in the same position. Most City's do offer a daily/weekly/monthly parking fee so why can't the City of Passaic. We have no help from our Mayor, our Council members, from NO ONE!!! It's time we take this matter into our own hands, its time we take action, IT IS OUR MONEY, ITS OUR FAMILY'S MONEY, WE SHALL NO LONGER LET THE CITY OF PASSAIC TAKE FOOD OFF OF OUR TABLES!!!
