Rescind Your Pro-Horse Slaughter Appointment of Callie Hendrickson to the BLM Wild Horse & Burro

Ms. Hendrickson is a well known proponent of horse slaughter and is the Excecutive Director of The White River and Douglas Creek Conservation Districts which represents ranching interests, many of whom have permits to run livestock on public lands in northwestern Colorado. Ms. Hendrickson also supports the sale without limitation of all unadopted wild horses to the highest bidder (including slaughter buyers). This egregious appointment will severely diminish the advisory board's objectivity and fairness regarding the fate of our country's wild horses and burros. For the sake of democracy this appointment must be rescinded. The majority of tax paying citizens are opposed to horse slaughter and their voices also need to be heard, especially since it is they that are the true stewards of our public lands.
