Save Blackie from drowning in abuse!

Blackie almost drown in the beautiful Manatee River because William Bell decided he needed exercise. He tied a 30 lb weight around this dogs neck and placed him in 4 feet of water on April 26th, 2011. This is unacceptable treatment of a dog! William Bell was charged with Felony Dog Cruelty and Blackie was released to a family member who claimed to own the dog. We as a community believe that Blackie is still in danger of abuse. We respectfully DEMAND that Blackie be removed from this family and have the opportunity to have a happy and healthy life with a family that will love him. The relative that claims to own Blackie is just as guilty as Mr. Bell. Blackie should have a safe loving home with no fear of drowning in abuse.
