Save the 101 Parc Downsview Park Bus

A proposal is being made to change a number of TTC routes - this includes Route 101 (Parc Downsview Park), which serves The Hangar.
 
Downsview is heavily used by many adults and also a lot of children and youth, the importance of access for all (regardless of income) to spaces where physical activity takes place, the fact that cutting the bus route completely during the months when the sun goes down very early and the weather is terrible creates a safety concern (i.e. women, young people, etc. walking through an unlit Downsview Park with few sidewalks, minimal security or lighting in the middle of the night), the heavy use of the bus by all these leagues and organizations on evenings and weekends, especially when there are games, the need for a reasonable compromise (i.e. keep the bus running on evenings and weekends), etc.

Rob Ford is (was?) a football coach.  He should understand how important access to sports is for the people of this City.
