stop long-distance live animal haulage

Even those who aren't vegetarian/vegan would surely agree that the sight of sheep waiting for slaughter trapped two-tier in haulage trucks parked up for the night just so that the driver can get rest is truly distressing.I have seen this year-round,in all weathers:rain,wind and snow.The stench of urine and fear is unmatched,it is a slaughterhouse smell that there is no escape from for the animals.How can any government allow this,how can this be a way to treat animals destined for the plates of those who maybe might care where the meat comes from.End this disgraceful treatment of sheep,and other animals now.
