The halal way of killing an animal is the most cruel and archaic way of killing. We have much more humane ways to slaughter that are far more Australian. In Australia by law stunning has to be used beforehand is the monitoring of this sufficiant. Overseas in parts where stunning is not used this practice is nothing but torture and gratuatious. In Australia Fast Food outlets are now not even always giving customers a choice of halal or non halal slaughtered meat, there are now halal only butchers, is this Australian?And on other occasions halal meat is not always advertised as being halal meat.
