Veteran's Hospital & PTSD Treatment Center

Tennessee's Helping Hearts is requesting that the Old Fort Sanders Hospital be turned into a Veteran's Hospital & PTSD Treatment Center. But our Mayor and local Politicians are fighting this, they want to turn the hospital into County Offices and other offices.
    This is already a hospital we feel it should stay a hospital and use it for a much needed Veteran's Hospital. We have over 7,000 local veteran's that have to go all the way to Johnson City or Murfreesboro in order to get help. Many of our veteran's that suffer from mayor injuries can't drive that far.
   PTSD Treatment Center is also a much need facility. Our military men and women need a place they can go seek help for themselves and their families when suffering from PTSD ( Post Trraumatic Stress Disorder). This is the main cause of death amoungst our Military men and women today. This Treatment Center will work with these men and women that are suffering from PTSD, but also help their families understand what this solider is going through. Even the Pentagon states that this needs to be addressed.
