War on Plastic Bags

Billions of plastic bags are polluting our planet, our rivers and oceans, killing marine and animal life and so many birds. This has been researched and well documented ( for example: see bagitmovie.com) and is so unnecessary!
How hard is it to bring a reusable bag, cloth or canvas bag to the store, keep one or two in the car, or clipped to your purse (I do). Let's ask the grocery and retail chains to stop handing out plastic bags like free candy.
Let's clean this place up! This is not hard. We can Do This!!!!
