World Diabetic KID'Z Day

We the undersigned members of the Diabetic Community and their Supporters hereby petition the President of the United States, The Honorable Barack H. Obama, the International Diabetes Federation and the World Health Organization to declare November 6th, 2010 and henceforth annually, as World Diabetic KID'Z Day. The goal of World Diabetic KID'Z Day is to increase awareness of the growing number of children throughout the world who are diagnosed with this condition. We the undersigned are of the opinion that with increased awareness and pride, that attention can be focused on both continued research into a cure as well as personal responsibility and self care which will reduce the number of complications associated with neglect.
