Stop Fracking in North Carolina

Fracking is a means of extracting natural gas from deep shale formations underground. On May 8, fracking could come to North Carolina for better or for worse. We believe fracking has the power to destroy North Carolina's social, political and natural environment. In over 30 states, air quality has been polluted with Methane, a powerful greenhouse gas; communities have been divided; groundwater quality has been compromised and generations will witness land devastation due to fracking. We want to stop this from happening in our state!
