Stop Boiling Whales for ship fuel, stop killing whales for Japanese dog treats

The compagny Hvalur H/F exclusively hunts endangered Fin whales for international export.
Kristján Loftsson, chief executive of the company, stated in a newspaper interview that his whaling vessels are being fuelled by whale oil and that each boat uses roughly the equivalent of the oil from one dead Fin whale for each single day trip it makes.

Loftsson boasts that the oil is environmental friendly because he melts the whale carcasses with geothermal energy to extract the oil.

Loftsson always seeks to put his wrenched finger in the eyes of the conversation community. He kills fin whales to make treats for dogs in Japan. Most recently he wanted to produce beer with whale flavour by putting whale meal in the beer.
