Each year 4 million dogs and 7 million cats are euthanized in kill shelters alone. This does NOT include the number pets dump by breeders at landfill in the photo, the strays or those who will remain in shelters all their lives because of overpopulation. This is an epidemic!!! Yet the government certified and legalized mass-producing puppy mills, and do not mandate neutering and spraying pets.
