Demand for Regular Fish Tank Checks in Pet Stores

    I stopped at my local PetSmart today, and when I looked at the fish tanks, I noticed that tanks containing minnows and goldfish had dead fish. This raises many problems, but the overall health of the fish is the main concern.

    How can we live on a shared planet and allow blatant animal cruelty to ensue! I am asking for signatures to strengthen animal-welfare protections in pet stores.

    Potential solutions:
    - Establishing CLEAR minimum standards for aquarium water quality, filtration, and oxygenation
    - Requiring regular fish-health checks and the prompt removal of dead fish.
