One Trump lackey after another espoused in strangely similar language the dire need to build the president's garish ballroom, calling for all legal challenges halting construction to be permanently swept aside. Lindsey Graham, took things several steps further, announcing legislation to authorize $400 MILLION in taxpayer funds to pay for the president's vainglorious pet project. Remember how we were all repeatedly promised — by Trump himself — that private donors had agreed to foot the bloated bill for his gold-plated party palace? Yeah, no.
