The Lomond and Sussex neighborhoods will soon be part of a vibrant new city center. However, we've been facing continued issues trying to leave and enter our neighborhood from cars blocking Norwood, the Post Office and the new Northfield roads. Per the request of the UH administration building, DO NOT BLOCK signs were posted in front of their entrances. As residential taxpayers, we deserve the same respect. Kindly sign your name to let the mayor and police know we need access to and from our neighborhood.
Mr. Leiken and Chief Lee,
We, the residents of Sussex and Lomond neighborhoods, request that proper signage and police presence be placed on Warrensville Center road to ease the burden of traffic that regularly blocks the intersections of Warrensville Center Road at the new Northfield Road, the US Postal Office, and Norwood roads.
Many of us regularly find ourselves unable to leave and/or enter our neighborhood at the above intersections. Many if us are patiently finding ways to maneuver the construction zone, but this situation is making life unnecessarily difficult when reasonable measures can be taken to alleviate the situation.
We love our neighborhod, and want to attract potential buyers. Please provide us with measures to address our frustration. Thank you for your consideration.
