In Support of a Vietnam Vets Tribute/Monument at Carter-Riverside High School, Forth Worth, TX

We, the undersigned, support the mission and efforts to erect a tribute/monument to honor veterans who attended Amon Carter-Riverside High School and served in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

We appreciate all Vietnam veterans wish to thank them for their service. This tribute/monument, which will be privately funded by classmates, their families, supporters, and friends, will be respectfully designed and placed in an appropriate area to recognize Carter-Riverside Vietnam veterans who were not honored upon returning home.

By this petition, we respectfully ask and urge the Fort Worth Independent School District to join and support the efforts of individuals, many of whom were educated at Carter-Riverside High School, to honor Vietnam veteran classmates as other school districts have done. This combined effort will assure that our tribute/monument becomes a reality on the campus of the veterans' alma mater, Amon Carter-Riverside High School.
