Again, the Brick couple has been accused of animal abuse with another dog, now named Ady. Recently, they had abused another dog, a beautiful cocker spaniel named Sammy, or Samurai. Keith Morgan, 56, and Shauna Ewing Morgan, 43, said they found Samurai in a trash bag on the side of the highway, and had 'saved' him. When Samurai was rescued, he had to be sedated to remove all the painful knots in his fur, that prevented him from standing up

Now, they have very likely abused Ady, their other cocker spaniel. She is white with black splodges.

"The suspects were very, very cooperative and decided to voluntarily surrender the animal," said Victor Amato, chief humane law enforcement officer for the Monmouth County SPCA. "When Samurai, known as Sammy, was originally turned in, he was covered in urine and his fur was so matted together in knots he could not stand up."

However, when Ady was turned in, her fur had recently been closely cut and her nails were trimmed. From this, it was impossible to tell whether she had been subject to abuse or not.

For abusing one dog, and possibly abusing another, the Morgans are recieving a meagre maximum sentence of just six months. Show everyone that just six months behind bars is not enough, and that these dogs need justice. Demand to see that this couple is put under arrest for a much, much longer time. Samurai and Ady will be saying thank you!
