Protest to no mess!

Soil contamination is caused by agricultural chemicals, industrial activity and improper disposal of waste. Recently the Croydon Council have put bars to how many times you can use the dumps, they take record of who comes in and out, if you use it more than once in a day they pull you over and mark you down... due to this people have been put off using the dumps to avoid a fine, now there are people littering and dumping there rubbish around local woodland areas, on street paths and in other people’s front gardens. Not only have they ruined the original system of the dumps but they have also removed a profuse amount of bins from surrounding areas, meaning there isn’t anywhere to put your rubbish during day to day activities. To add onto that, they’ve sent out a number of new bins to organise litter better, but you can’t even use these till September!! We need to take a stand and make our point heard, littering, dumping, destroying our environment will not be tolerated! The Croydon council and councils all over need to take these issues on board and resolve these promptly before we no longer have any natural environment left, this is getting ridiculous, it needs to stop and it will stop!
