California Drift line fishery

    The issue is the drift line that is being used to target swordfish and thrasher sharks, but with that comes great consequences. Their are many different species that are the bycatch of this type of fishery, they are catching many different endangered sea turtles and different sharks, dolphins, sea lions, and more. The solution to this would be to ban this type of fishery and figure out a certain technique that still meets quota for the fisherman to take to market but only targets those certain species of fish.
