Ban the Plastic

Plastic is strewn across our public places, urban and rural, inhabited and isolated. People unthinkingly litter the place in particular with food and drink containers. Since fines do not seem to be having any effect - they are not high enough - and since there is a high environmental cost to be paid for its production anyway - it is time to ban it and its use, when it be cups and wrappings from food take-out relets or from any manner of sold goods. It takes 1,000s of years to break-down and since oil is running out, its demise is inevitable anyway. So let's go right ahead and ban it immediately.
