Although dog meat in Vietnam is not as popular as it is in Korea, everyday, millions of dogs are killed.
Eating dogs is not illegal in Vietnam, but many people here oppose to it.
However, sad things still happen. Many "dog meat shops" appear. There are not enough dogs for them. And the owners of the shops hire unemployed people to steal dogs from people's houses. Some dog-thefts even enter people's houses and kill the dogs right in front of the eyes of the owners. If the owners of the dogs shout for help , they are willing to beat them down.
As a Vietnamese, and as a dog lover, I can't just stand to see this. If dog meat is banned in Vietnam and if there are stricter law for this, things wouldn't have been worse.
Every living thing has feelings. Even an ant wants to live. Why kill dogs? Aren't dogs human's best friends?
Please help!
PS: I never mean to make the image of my country worse in others' eyes, I just want justice for dogs. As my heart is broken now
