Recently, a banking and investing company out of Chicago, Illinois purchased Whataburger. The reason Whataburger is so beloved here in the South is because it is family owned AND family operated. Down here, that still means something to people. Some fellows up North just trying to make a quick buck have alot of potential to ruin our favorite fast food chain. It is the burger equivalent of Chick-fil-A! Both are Christian companies with high moral and health standards delivering quality service and excellent food.
