"Green bonds" are bonds issued by companies that finance projects aimed at sustainability. Over the past 5 years the appetite from investors for this kind of bond has grown by many fold. GM, PepsiCo, and Lenovo have been corporate leaders in this area. It is through the efforts of these companies, and others like them, that the private green bond market has become a reality. Let's encourage them to issue more.
