Fire Teacher for Telling Student to Speak American

Last week a teacher in New Jersey is caught on tape being racist to a student from the Dominican Republic.

"Men and women are fighting. They are not fighting for your right to speak Spanish," the teacher says in the video. "They are fighting for your right to speak American."

This kind of racism has no place in our already divided and racist country. Sign to demand this teacher is fired for her behavior. 

On Monday, 100 students at the school protested by walking out of class. They were threatened with expulsion for their protest, but nothing has been decided yet.
