Colorado Needs Wolves, and Wolves Need Colorado

Rocky Mountain National Park recognized it had an elk problem years ago. Overpopulated, the elk loitered in aspen groves, browsed streamside vegetation to the ground, and degraded habitat for a multitude of species. The solution was obvious: restore wolves. Wolves can manage elk far better than humans as we learned from wolf reintroduction at Yellowstone National Park.
