The people of the City reserve the power to recall any elected officer of the City of Georgetown, on the grounds of incompetence, misconduct, or malfeasance in office, and may exercise such power by filing a petition, as described herein, with the City Secretary.

The current state of Georgetown Tx's utility system and the misinformation, confusion, lack of clear information and lack of leadership from Mayor Dale Ross is not befitting of the office he currently holds and the actions taken and subsequent behavior illustrate clear and blatant incompetence with regards to Georgetown's financial future and misconduct on the part of the Mayor with regards to claims that the city is "100" renewable.
