Demand for gas and central heating

We got told the other year that our street is gunna be getting gas and central heating connected but now we get told from our housing officer from incommunities that northern gas don't have the time and to connect gas on our street but northern gas didn't say such thing our properties are cold and running off storage heaters which don't warm our homes and waste a lot of electric
