Do not pardon Tina Peters!

Ms. Peters committed acts which were not legal and which threatened the integrity of s Federal election in the State of Colorado. She was properly indicted for these acts and granted bond. She repeatedly violated the conditions of the bond. Eventually she was tried by a jury of citizens of Colorado, pleaded guilty, and was found guilty by a jury. She has showed nothing which could be interpreted as the slightest sign of remorse. Many Coloradans have served jail and/or prison time for less.

Even though it is unlikely that Ms. Peters will ever experience remorse for her crimes, at least upholding her sentence will prevent her from committing more crimes during the time she is incarcerated. I urge you to uphold that sentence, and not to be influenced by anyone, whether in government or private citizens, who would have you believe a false narrative. Thank you for your attention.
