recently discovered two dead puppies, two sick adult dogs, and three more puppies locked in a plastic container. It began when police received a call about abandoned puppies abandoned somewhere outside near a roadway. That call began a whole process of investigation, which ultimately revealed a much bigger story.

By the time authorities arrived, the plastic storage bin had become completely filthy - the puppies were covered in their poop and pee.
Authorities began investigating, in order to identify the culprits behind this cruel abandonment. As a result, they discovered that the people likely responsible for neglecting these poor baby animals had also abused or neglected four more dogs as well. Two adult female dogs were alive but extremely unwell;
the other two animals, both puppies and likely from the same litter, had already died.Authorities rushed the five remaining living dogs to veterinarians, where the puppies and adults are all receiving emergency treatments. Experts have said that the animals were suffering from heart murmurs, skin infections, and other "conditions consistent with neglect."
To learn that these individuals so horribly neglected seven dogs - to the point where two puppies died - is heartbreaking. And it is clear that we must keep them away from animals in the future. They have already been arrested and charged with multiple crimes. Now, we must demand a ban on animal ownership.
