Petition for a Travel Ban and Financial Sanctions against Corrupt Nigerian Politicians and Officials

 We the undersigned seek to fight corruption and bad governance in Nigeria by requesting that the UK and EU institute travel bans and financial sanctions against any Nigerian politician or public official with an outstanding allegation of corrupt and criminal or electoral practice and harming Nigeria democratic and judicial institutions. Corruption is the greatest impediment to Nigerian development and by freezing the assets of corrupt officials and limiting their freedom to travel these individuals can be held to account for their actions and separated from their ill gotten gains.
