Tell the Presidential candidates to say no to oil drilling!
It is important to tell the candidates what matters to you. We can work together and spread the word about this message and we can make a positive impact on the policies that will be made by the next administration. Renewing our 26-year long commitment to not drilling for oil offshore (which expired Oct 1st.) is a critical step to take in order to show that our nation wants to be led in the right direction. The areas that oil companies want to drill on or nearby provide critical habitat that is necessary to thousands of species of underwater creatures. Show your support for wildlife, cleaner oceans, and the environment by signing this petition!
We, the undersigned, strongly urge the next elected president of the United States to put forth a clear plan to keep us from pursuing oil in both domestic and foreign locations. We feel it is crucial that you propose legislation that would renew the ban on offshore oil drilling as soon as you are able to do so.
