Owner of Paw’sh Paws in Cumming GA beats small dog before hanging by a leash till dead

"Allegedly the owner [of Paw'sh Paws] had the dog by a leash and was kicked multiple times in the side of the head and the dog was drug across the pet salon and was hit up against the table and washtub and was hung by the leash very gruesomely," said Deputy Chief Barrett.

Michelle Louise Root, 41, of Gainesville, was arrested for cruelty to animals after she killed a dog she had been grooming at her store, Paw’sh Paws at 530 Lake Center Parkway B2, Cumming, GA.

The employees kept quiet when the owners came to pick up their dog, going along with the lie that the dog had a seizure. I want to do everything in my power to make sure this psychopath doesn't get to continue making profit owning her dog salon. This is also not the first time allegations has been brought before her.

If a daycare was found guilty of child abuse it would be shut down, so the same should be true with this business. There's a very good chance this individual could get off with a light sentence if punished at all. Even if they are sentenced, they will still be making a living from their store. This hurts me to my core. There is no excuse or rationality for brutalizing and killing someone's pet.

Please sign my petition to demand that the city council and Georgia Department of Health shut down Paw'sh Paws.

Thank you!
