Black Bear Given Second Chance at life Killed in Whitehorse

Wildlife should be entitled to live free in wild areas. As human dwellings encroach upon these wild areas to we really expect to live in isolation without any wildlife encounters. To kill a bear for scavenging in garbage that was obviously not wildlife secure is simply disgusting. And what is even more despicable is that this mother bear had two young cubs that are now orphaned and being shipped off to live their existence in a cage for human enjoyment (Zoo). So to sum up what the conservation officers have done: Killed a healthy female bear, Orphaned two young cubs, sentenced them to live an unnatural life in a zoo.
