Stop making people wait for prescriptions when bad weather is approaching

When a storm is predicted people shouldn't have to wait the entire 30 days to get controlled substance prescriptions refilled. My mom who is 89 years old almost ran out of her pain medication. We knew a winter storm was coming but the pharmacy couldn't let us get it 1 day early. Now my truck is stuck and has been for days. I did get the pills back to her but it was very dangerous and unnecessary.
