Justice for Dog that was Abandoned to Die in Crate

In Hapeville, south of Atlanta, a dog was recently abandoned in a crate, left in hot weather to die a lonely and painful death. A decent human being would have surrendered her to a shelter - and there are plenty in Atlanta. Thankfully, a kind-hearted person rescued the dog and gave her a new lease (and leash) on life.

The jerk who thoughtlessly dumped this dog needs to be found, arrested, charged, convicted and sentenced for felony animal cruelty - and never allowed to be an animal guardian again.
