They're everywhere. Masked agents with no name tags, no visible IDs, and no accountability – dragging immigrants off the streets, out of courthouses, and away from their families. It's happening across the U.S., and it should horrify all of us. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is acting like a militia, abducting people from public spaces with impunity and causing unnecessary fear and chaos. This cannot continue.
States like California and New York are trying to fight back by introducing legislation that would ban this practice unless absolutely necessary. But we need public pressure to push these efforts forward. We need Congress to step up too, by passing bills similar to the No Secret Police Act and the Mandating End of Lawless Tactics Act.

These "arrests" may not even be technically valid, as there are often no charges or crimes involved. Far too many people are being detained and sent to detention centers without proper justification. These agents are using masks to shield themselves from accountability for their willingness to participate in dangerous overreach.
Right now, immigrants live in fear not only of arrest, but of being hunted by masked, anonymous strangers with government protection. This is not law enforcement. This is intimidation. And it echoes some of the darkest chapters in world history.
