California is on the verge of making history by passing a law requiring a massive divestiture from all companies that participate in the construction of Trump's border wall.
That means not one penny of their multi-billion dollar state retirement portfolios can be invested in firms that work to construct, design or finance the wall in any way. This move will send a strong message and encourage businesses to think twice before they decide to take part in the wall's construction.
I applaud California on this brave move and taking a stand against Trump's wall of hate. States like Illinois and New York are considering doing the same. Lets let them know we agree and that we want other states to do the same.
Please join me in asking California, Illinois, New York and the rest of the state houses to tear down the wall before it is even built. By signing this petition you are telling your state house you don't want one red cent of your hard earned tax dollars associated with the wall.

I do not believe that public monies should go towards the construction of this wasteful and hateful wall. It is fiscally irresponsible and is un-american in every way. Please take action and pass legislation that divests all public funds from companies that choose to take part in the construction of this wrong-headed wall.
