End Whaling In Norway Now!

Every year, Norway has a quota for 999 minke whales to be killed with explosive harpoons, an agonizing death that can take hours. Many of these whales are pregnant females. This hunt is unlawful, as in 1986 commercial whaling was banned worldwide. Norway has continued to kill under an "objection" to the moratorium. This has a negative affect on whale populations and thus on the ocean. This hunt is not traditional as most meat gets sold to Japan. Demand an end to the slaughter now.

Many people are familiar with the whale slaughters in Iceland and Japan. Very few are familiar with the slaughter that takes place in Norway. The killing of 999 mostly pregnant minke whales with explosive harpoons is unsustainable and inhumane. This slaughter is not traditional as the meat is sold for profit. The hunt is illegal as it violates the 1986 global moratorium on commercial whaling. I will continue to raise awareness about this hunt and expose Norway for the whale-murdering country it is. End the whale hunt now!
