MAKE BRITISH BANKNOTES VEGAN FRIENDLY

ALL The Polymer-based banknotes in circulation in the UK contain Tallow.
This tallow is a by-product of slaughterhouses.
These banknotes have been forced on to the public with complete contempt for vegetarians and vegans, who feel outraged and alienated with these banknotes.
Therefore, we demand the following organisations take action remove the tallow with immediate effect and replace it with a vegan-friendly alternative :
(1) The UK Government Department HM Treasury
(2) The Governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney
(3) De La Rue, the manufacturers of the banknotes
