Fighting Against The Existence of Puppy Mills
The term puppy mill is used to describe large-scale breeders who have lower standards than regular breeders and usually sell to pet stores. The problem with these dogs is the breeder is more concerned with quantity than quality of the puppies. Many of the puppies coming from puppy mills have disease that are not exposed to a buyer when a customer buys a puppy from a shop. Many customers have to deal with the loss of that little puppy that they bought because it was so ill coming from the puppy mill. In these large-scale breeding facilities, several puppies are stuffed into one crate only to live in their own feces and filth. Also since the breeder is so concerned with making tons of litters, they forget to pay attention to the quality of the litter they are producing. I have heard story after story of victims buying a puppy and it dying or them spending thousands of dollars of vet bills. Signing this petition means you are ready and want to join my fight against puppy mills and prohibit them from existing.
We the undersigned are asking that you prohibit puppy mills and shut down the existing ones. These large-scale breeders are only concerned with the quantiy of puppies they can breed and don't concern themselves with the quality of the litter. Many of these puppies are sold in pet stores, then die shortly after because of a disease that could have been prevented if the breeder took more care. This petition asks for attention on the issue of puppy mills and some action to be taken to prohibit them. Your time with this matter is sincerely appreciated and we'll look forward to your action.
