Demand to be reunited within pets. Make there be a hold on dogs surrendered .

I made the biggest mistakes of my life an had to surrender my two fur dogs the humane society knew I was torn about doing I went in crying an left crying even harder even called back after doing it to make sure an asked them. I was told I had two days. Well I called again within a few hrs got no answer an then left messages even emailed them this started on 12-22-25 any I called everyday and emailed never got anyone phone but got a email saying they were adopted out on 12-26-25 I begged an plead to please give them back an reminded them what they said offered to pay was denied finally got them on the phone an was told they were up down when really they wasn't. I looked everywhere and everyday hunting for them I found them on websites told my story but nothing I couldn't understand why wasn't these people answering me here are these dogs were up for adoption I was saying that they were mine could prove it but no one would ever answer me.. I keep finding them on 20 different websites or more an texted everyone one of them no answer . Now I know I made a mistake and should have never done it but had the humane society on their word I would have been able to get them back so there needs to be more stronger roles about if you surrender an animal you should have at least 48 hours to get them back before they give them away.
