Reshoot Freddie Mercury Biopic to Prevent Straight-Washing!

The trailer for the Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, was released May 15. Many have accused the movie of "straight-washing" the band's lead, Freddie Mercury, because it ignores his bisexuality and the fact that he died of AIDS.

Please sign this petition to urge 20th Century Fox to reshoot scenes to include this fact!

Freddie Mercury deserves a true depiction of his life and hardships. Freddie Mercury confirmed his AIDS diagnosis hours before he died in 1991 at age 45. His death raised awareness of the disease.

Freddie Mercury is a global idol for the LGBTQ community and his story deserves to be told as the truth. Please sign this petition if you want to see the filmmakers include acknowledgement of Mercury's bisexuality and AIDS diagnosis in the Queen biopic.
