Make horse slaughter in the US illegal!

It is now legal for innocent horses to be slaughtered in the US for human consumption. Don't we have enough food already?
These horses are brutally tortured day in day out only to be ripped apart whilst still alive. It is something that these gentle, intelligent giants do not deserve. As a rider I know that horses are capable of such emotion - love, loyalty and most importantly ... Fear. So join me in destroying this law not these beautiful creatures!
