Save Our Heritage - Say NO to Wind Farms in Hamilton, Coryell, Lampasas and Mills County, Texas!

French wind farm developer, EDF Renewables, has proposed placing 91 turbines the height of a 40 story building on the scenic vistas of Hamilton, Coryell, Lampasas and Mills Counties. The turbines visible for miles will forever scar the natural beauty of this scenic environment and negatively impact property values within view of the turbines by 19% to 40%. Property that comes up for sale will fail to attract buyers which will diminish property values in general. The towering turbines and associated transmission lines further imperil 25 endangered and threatened species identified by Texas Parks & Wildlife that depend on that habitat found in those counties. Local businesses will suffer when tourists and hunters choose to visit areas unspoiled by the massive metal structures and blinking red lights.
