Demand on speed bumps in front of the school

I have lived in my duplex for 5 years, it is located right across the street from a elementary school. In the five years of living here my moms car and dads car have been totaled they come to visit and park on the street and cars are speeding and hit other cars. One was a hit and run the other was texting while driving. And another incident occurred recently my neighbors dog got hit my a car while speeding through this dangerous street. Me and my neighbors have all come together to get speed bumps places on this street for the safety or the kids and the neighbors.
