Stop Japan's "Research" Whaling now!

It is high time that the Japanese Government  move into the 21st Century along with the large majority of the world's countries and ban whaling once and for all.
Simply declaring that whaling is part of their national heritage is no longer a valid reason either.  We have other food sources available nowadays. 
Japan's continueing declaration that its whaling is strictly for 'research' has been proven to be the worst sort of  fabrication; check out the country's leading fish markets!
