Tell the FDA to label enzymes in cheese as animal derived

Rennet is an enzyme used to make cheeses, that comes from the stomach of calves stomachs. The labels of cheese are not required to state whether the enzymes used in the cheese making process are rennet or vegetable derived. The FDA considers it "impractical for cheese producers to have variations of labels to indicate what is included in enzyme mixtures." This makes it difficult for vegetarians to find rennet-free cheeses. Please let the FDA know that its more inconvenient for the consumer rather than the producer, and that they should require cheese producers to state in the labels that the enzymes are rennet.
We the Undersigned support proper labeling for cheese enzymes. We all agree that the enzymes used in the cheese making process should be specified in the ingredients. Currently, they can simply be stated as "enzymes." Rennet is animal derived, are therefore not suitable for vegetarians. People inquring about the source of the enzymes to the companies, by writing, calling, or emailing, is surely more inconvenient than having proper labels on the food.
