NCC, Take Measures to Protect Wildlife!

Two deer have recently been found dead near The Nature Conservancy of Canada property.  These deer were killed by a broken neck, which is thought to be caused by darting across the road and running head-first into fencing around NCC property.

The NCC purchased land in Ontario for conservancy reasons, only to fence and gate the area.  As the fencing may be responsible for wildlife deaths, the NCC should investigate the issue and determine if changes can be made to lower the risk.  The NCC has also not been clear on the reason for the fencing, which required over 16,000 cedar trees.

Tell the NCC to investigate their property to ensure it is safe for animals!
