Harry Dunn was a 19-year-old British man who was hit and killed while riding his motorcycle on 27 August 2019 near Croughton, Northamptonshire, England, UK, about 400 metres (1,300 ft) from the RAF Croughton exit. His motorcycle was struck head-on by a Volvo XC90 being driven on the wrong side of the road by Anne Sacoolas. Anne is the wife of Jonathan Sacoolas, a U.S. government employee working at the United States Air Force listening station at RAF Croughton. It was reported that the Sacoolas family had only been in the U.K for 3 weeks, the accident has became the subject of a diplomatic dispute when Anne left the country shortly after the incident and the U.S. embassy claimed she had diplomatic immunity as the wife of a U.S. agent working in the UK. According to The Washington Examiner it was reported that Jonathan Sacoolas did not work for the National Security Agency, and that the Sacoolas family lived in Northern Virginia in the area of the Central Intelligence Agency Langley headquarters.
