DA Ramos: Maximum Felony Sentence for Enping Qu for Burning Puppy 5 Times!

BACKGROUND (as reported by KTLA): A Chino Hills, CA man was arrested after allegedly pouring boiling water on his girlfriend’s caged dog.. Witnesses called authorities after hearing a dog, Sophie, yelp in pain. Those witnesses, 17-year-old teens, according to the San Bernardino Sun, spotted Enping Qu and watched him pour water on Sophie at least five times. The incident was recorded on video. San Bernardino County deputies responded to the 16000 block of Butterfield Ranch Road in Chino Hills.

According to Inland Valley Humane Society operations manager, Sophie was in shock. She didn't know why she was being repeatedly burned.

Qu, 22, was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty but later released on bail. Qu could face felony animal cruelty charges, sheriff's officials said. LET'S HOPE SO!

MESSAGE TO DA: Dear District Attorney Ramos, this is a clear cut case of animal cruelty and Qu's age is no excuse. We need to send a clear message that barbarism will never be tolerated. Research proves that those who commit crimes against animals never stop there, they move on to humans. Send a strong message and stop the heinous cruelty to animals now. Thank you.
